At Jonathan Bayliss Chartered Surveyors, we have worked on a wide range of party wall and building consultancy projects across London and beyond. Each project is unique, and the process can vary depending on the complexity of the work involved.
Party wall awards typically remain valid for one year, so it’s important to plan ahead. Preparing an award can take several weeks or even months, depending on the scale of the project, the number of affected parties, and any negotiations required. To avoid delays, we recommend starting the process as early as possible.
Our experience covers everything from small residential extensions to large-scale developments, ensuring that all work complies with the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 while protecting the interests of all parties involved.

This project is ongoing. Some of our work is fairly straightforward requiring us to ensure works are regulated and safe. However, some are more complex like this one where substantial excavation is required. This necessitates detailed knowledge and careful negotiation to ensure that all parties are protected and should problems arise that parties are covered.
